NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne made his return to the central Pennsylvania dirt track racing circuit during the Sprint Cup series' Easter break.
Kahne raced Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway and tweeted saying that he would follow it up by racing at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night. Kahne, however, didn't have a great run Friday night with finishing 15th at the tough, Williams Grove Speedway.
He's no stranger to dirt track racing, coming up through the ranks before reaching NASCAR. He owns Kasey Kahne Racing, which fields two drivers in the World of Outlaws circuit.
Saturday at Lincoln Speedway, Kahne put on a clinic by leading all 30 laps clinching his first win at the speedway. Kahne beat defending track champion, Brian Montieth as well as Lucas Wolfe, Danny Dietrich and Ryan Smith.
Kahne will return to racing with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Circuit this coming weekend and will only be allowed to run in any sprint car races on non-NASCAR racing event weekends. Could we see Kahne back behind the wheel of his sprint car in PA again?
