Philadelphia Flyers forward Jori Lehtera will be prosecuted and is due in court in January for his alleged involvement in a cocaine trafficking ring, per the Finnish outlet MTV.
However, NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly says the league has no update on the case and that it remains open and ongoing.
Lehtera’s Tampere cottage was raided over the summer and two kilos of cocaine were seized. He was not present at the time and has denied any involvement.
